As many of you know, cp-e™ has been sponsoring 2 mazdaSPEED3s in the 2009 Redline time attack season. Brian Alvarez in the West and Gary Fratianne in the East. Last weekend was the final redline time attack race of the season. And we are proud to announce that with determination, a lot of seat time, and some serious driving skills both placed 2nd in the Street FWD. Our congratulations go out to both drivers as 2nd place is not an easy feat. Both Brian and Gary were running cars with stock engines and basic bolt-ons against cars with engine swaps.
As we have been trying to finalize the Standback2 development for the naturally aspirated Mazda3 vehicles - Mazda seems to be throwing at us new challenges in taking control of the engine.
cp-e™ will be closed from Wednesday November 4th 2009 through Sunday November 8th 2009 to attend SEMA. We will reopen Monday November 9th 2009.
cp-e™ is proud to announce their gauge pod design for the Hyundai Genesis Coupe. As with the rest of our gauge pod line, laser scanners and precision machining are being used to ensure the cp-e™ gauge pod is made to look as close to a factory OEM part as possible, while offering the flexibility of housing 52mm or 60mm gauges. This gauge solution will feature OEM-like graining and OEM tabs for a perfect snap fit. We will have photos of the prototype within the next few weeks. The tooling will begin after the first of the year.

Many turbocharged cars suffer from suppressed horsepower because their stock airbox restricts airflow. The Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T is no exception to this rule. That is why cp-e™ has created the αIntake™ for the 2.0T Genesis Coupe.
The cp-e™ αIntake™ was engineered to get the most out of the engine. Our design was focused on providing unrestricted airflow at the lowest temperature possible. The result brings you a bolt in replacement with the best of both worlds: the cool air from a standard cold-air intake and the unrestricted flow of a short-ram intake.
We picked up our 2010 mazdaSPEED3 from Park Mazda in Wooster, Ohio a couple of weeks ago. We ran it on our Mustang Dyno last week and will have stock numbers to share with you very soon. Now it is on the lift for R&D. We plan to bring you an entire line of power packed performance products for the 2010 SPEED3 in the coming months.

As many of you may have already heard, Jordan has left cp-e™. He has decided to pursue a personal venture that he has been working on for the past year. We have been reading the feedback from many of you regarding the loss of functionality of the defrost vent. All of the DashHawk mounting pods that have been completed have been scrapped. Revisions are now being made to accomodate the defrost vent. Our single gauge pod will be going through a similar facelift. These revisions will cause a delay in the release of this product. But we are working quickly to get the adjustments made to the tooling. I will post updated images once the changes are complete.
After a few samples, we had to make some revisions to the tooling for the EvoX Gauge Pod. We hope that this will be the last revision and that there will be no more delays.
