cp-e Featured in S3 Magazine

We’re proud to announce that we worked with S3 Magazine on a recent feature where we proved the power of performance parts on a Mustang EcoBoost. This car came in totally stock and left with full cp-e bolt-on parts. We dyno’d the car every step of the way to track the progress of every part.

We’re incredibly excited to see this in print and we couldn’t be happier with the results, especially consider the testing was done on our “heartbreaker” Mustang Dyno.

The print copy is available now and the full write up will be on their website in digital format shortly.

The Raptor’s Journey Back

SEMA 2017: Day 2

SEMA 2017: Day 1

SEMA is always a big push every year for us to build something unique to display our latest parts and most innovative designs. This year we jumped out of our comfort zone and built a truck, a Raptor at that. We have a lot of experience with the Ford EcoBoost vehicles, so this build represents us scaling our efforts to the largest EcoBoost vehicle available.

Much like our SEMA build last year, we partnered with some other companies to build a truly unique vehicle. We were lucky enough to have the truck sponsored by Fifteen52, Fab Fours, Maxxis Tires, Custom Performance Coating, SCT Performance, and Rigid Industries. The end result is a seriously cool truck that stays true to our performance roots, sporting a full set of cp-e bolt-ons.

Custom Performance Coating finished the wheels from Fifteen52 in our signature Titan™ finish to match the exhaust system and bumpers on the car. The parts from Fab Fours were treated in a similar manner and coated to enhance durability.

Once we had the car built with a combination of our parts and the sponsor parts, we set out for the ultimate test in durability, a cross-country road trip. We’re located on the East Coast and drove the truck all the way to Las Vegas to log some testing data on our performance parts. Most vehicles are trailered to SEMA, but we wanted to use our show truck to the fullest.

Once we made it to Las Vegas without any issues, we set up our booth and proceeded to check out some of the other builds in our area. We’re all set up and open for the first day at SEMA Booth 36227, so if you’re in the area stop by and say hi! If you aren’t able to make it, we’ll be posting some photos of the Raptor, our other favorite builds, and cool new product as the week goes on. Stay tuned!

Focus Rising 2018

We’re ecstatic to announce that we’re the title sponsor this year for Focus Rising! This event is always filled with great builds and we’re really glad to be a part of it this year.

Mid Engine Corvette Spotted

McDonalds probably isn’t the first place you’d expect to run into the new Corvette prototype, but some lucky people in Detroit tracked it down at the drive through. With the new platform and surely exceptional power plant, this new Corvette is something we’ll be keeping an eye on.

Full story.

Mike Silbernagel Autocross

Here’s a great shot of our sponsored car @unfocusedracing holding it down in autocross over the weekend. Congrats on finishing 2nd in your class and hanging with the stiff AWD and RWD competition.

Back from Mustang Week 2017

The Journey to Mustang Week 2017

This year Mustang Week is much later than usual and it’s been moved to inside a convention center, so many people are wondering what the turn out will be like. We decided to jump in with both feet and drive our project Focus RS down for the event. Once the rain stopped, we jumped in the car and hit the road.

Seat time in this car is always rewarding and it truly is a blast to drive. With all of the Anderson Composites modifications, the lowered ride height, and the potential for tons of rock chips, we decided to tape up the car pretty substantially.

Lucky for us, painter’s tape is a pretty good match for the factory Nitrous Blue paint. With out entire front end taped up, we made set out on the road. When we stopped for a quick fill up, we figured it was as good a time as any to get a photo of the car.

With all of the reports about a hurricane hitting Florida shortly and the close proximity to Mustang Week, we wanted to be sure we could get out of town right away if needed. Luckily the Focus RS is happy to oblige and we could make it back rapidly and on about a tank and a half.

Made it. Time to inspect the car for rock chips.

Now that we’re at the show, we’ve setup at VMP Tuning’s booth and are ready to show this beast off.

And here a few more of the show overall.
