We have a history of modifying EcoBoost cars now and we really love the low displacement four cylinder turbo motors that Ford has produced. So, of course when you double the amount of turbos and add some displacement, we’re going to love that too.
We have a good deal of experience with the 3.5L twin turbo found in the F-150, but this will be our first time with the latest version of this motor that’s been tuned to produce 450hp and over 500 ft-lbs of torque. This truck works for all of the usual truck purposes, such as towing and hauling, but it does them while using less gas and looking fantastic. Also, it’s pretty damn fast for a truck.
We can’t wait to get this car back to Maryland and start development on some fantastic parts for this platform.
