It’s no secret that we’re really big fans of the BG Racing Mustang EcoBoost. Going 10s in any car is a feat, but doing it in a Mustang EcoBoost is really something to talk about, which explains why everyone is talking about this car. We’re here at SEMA wit Brad Gusler’s 2015 EcoBoost and the car couldn’t have better placement. If you’re at the show, you can’t miss this car right up front.

This car has an added boost in power thanks to a cp-e Atmosphere turbo kit featuring a 6062 Precision turbo. All of the power puts a lot of stress on the motor, so the stock 2.3L has been beefed up with a cp-e Evolve™ short block. This blueprinted block has forged Manley rods and cp-e Stage 2 MagnumDI pistons. The exhaust is a custom cp-e side exit straight pipe with an external wastegate screamer pipe. This thing sounds as mean as it is.

The car is kept cool thanks to a custom JPC Racing water to air FMIC. This FMIC has proven to be extremely reliable at keeping the car cool after repeated passes at the track.

The cp-e motor is functional and beautiful with its finishing touches provided by Custom Performance Coating. The timing cover, FMIC, and other engine dress up have been powder coated Ford race red to unify the engine bay.

This placement is as good as it gets. Look out for this car this Friday night at SEMA Ignited.

Race Star wheels give the car its characteristic meaty stance and allow for some serious Mickey Thompson rubber to be mounted.

Photos and text can tell part of the story, but the real story is in the video below. Tune in to see the path to creating a 10 second Mustang EcoBoost.
