Description

Changing your factory diverter valve out for an aftermarket unit? You’ll need one of our BlockD™ Fiesta ST DV Delete plates. While the stock diverter valve does a fine job at stock power, but even slightly raised boost levels can destroy it. As a result, installing an aftermarket blow off valve is a popular choice. Unfortunately, this isn’t possible unless you plug the factory diverter valve.

This FiestaST Diverter Valve Delete Plate attaches to your stock turbo to delete your stock diverter valve. This is essential when you are using an aftermarket BOV, so that your car doesn’t have two areas where it is releasing boost pressure. Additionally if this factory location is not plugged, it will cause your car to no longer hold boost properly.

If you’re using another company’s blow off valve kit, you will need a way to plug the stock diverter valve. This simple plate is an elegant solution to adding a blow off valve to your car. If you’re adding our HotCharge pipe and Exhale Kit, you do not need to purchase this part.

Although it’s a simple part, this tiny plate is essential for a high horsepower Focus ST EcoBoost build.

**Please note that this plate is included with all of our Fiesta ST Exhale™ BOV Kits.

  • Ford Fiesta ST 1.6L 2014-2018

This is a must if you are planning on disabling your OEM diverter valve on the OEM Borg Warner turbo. I am using a Turbosmart BOV and after install and was not seeing consistent boost levels through out rpms or hearing the full sound of my aftermarket unit until I installed this plate. I am now seeing no drops in boost pressure during WOT and the Turbosmart Kompact is much louder now that the OEM unit is no longer a source of boost leak. Install was moderate, all it took was time, light and patience. The 3 bolts that secure the OEM DV to the turbo aren’t that easy too access however once they are out the rest of the install goes much smoother.
