Fiesta ST Cat Back
OEM parts often times are designed for efficiency of manufacturing, cutting costs and driver comfort. Unfortunately performance is often not a priority – as seen on the very restrictive factory cat back setup on the 1.6L EcoBoost motor. The EcoBoost exhaust from the factory totally hides the sound of the car. With the factory exhaust, you might as well be driving a vacuum cleaner. We have years of experience with EcoBoost exhaust systems and knew that we had to uncork the ST exhaust.
cp-e has developed Fiesta ST Cat Back for the 1.6L Turbo.

This cat back exhaust will not only improve the breathing of your Fiesta ST EcoBoost, but it will also give you that aggressive exhaust note you’ve been looking for! The cp-e™ Austenite™ cat back exhaust has a very controlled exhaust note that gives the driver no drone at cruising speeds. Even so, the exhaust has a pronounced and aggressive tone at wide open throttle. In summary, this is the ideal mix between raw tone and refinement.
Never overwhelming, the new cp-e™ sound will grab attention. Although, not from obnoxious noise, but because the sound is exotic and unique. These pipes keep the exhaust at a nice tone while also eliminating drone without adding back pressure. One thing to keep in mind while shopping for an exhaust is that tone is equally important to volume. The perfect volume can be ruined if the tone isn’t on point.
EcoBoost Fiesta Exhaust – Getting the Most From Your ST
For those who have replaced the factory downpipe, this 3″ cat back will remove the last bottleneck in the exhaust stream; increasing the engines breathing capacity and smoothing out the turbo spool. In addition to sounding good, you also want an exhaust that performs. With this in mind, we’ve developed an incredibly free-flowing system.
cp-e™ uses Titan™ finish 304 Stainless Steel for all of our exhaust systems. We mandrel bend and cut the 18g heavy duty stainless piping on our in-house CNC Bender and CNC Mills. The system features custom cast Stainless Flanges, reliable hangers, custom made Stainless Mufflers and polished stainless tips. Everything is TIG welded by hand to get beautiful color and durability in the welds. Designed fully in a CAD environment, cp-e™ is able to guarantee a factory-like fit every-time with great performance gains.

This exhaust is fantastic! After hearing several options for the Fiesta ST, I decided to go with the CP-E catback. Upon receiving the exhaust and opening the box, I was impressed with the quality of the packaging. The exhaust was packaged using formable foam, thus reducing the risk of the exhaust being damaged in transit. Everything was packaged in a way that eliminated contact between parts, which helped avoid any scratches or dents. The exhaust itself was a work of art. The welds and Titan finish are beautiful, giving it the appearance of a much more expensive exhaust that belongs on an exotic car. There wasn’t a single flaw that I could find on the exhaust. The install was very straight forward with the only hiccups being the downpipe bolts being very tight on the stock exhaust, and cutting apart the rear section of the stock exhaust (as it is a single piece from the factory). I was slightly skeptical about the design of the catback as it does not utilize a muffler. The resonated midpipe and helmholtz resonator create a very unique, yet civilized tone. The catback has a very deep growl that does not sound ricey or raspy at all. The only drone that I have experienced is going up hills at about 65-75MPH. The volume of the exhaust while cruising is barely louder than stock, but really livens up when you go WOT. In my opinion, this exhaust is the perfect balance of a mean, aggressive tone and daily driver friendly volume. My only words of caution would be you must cut the stock exhaust (unless you want to drop the rear torsion beam) and be prepared for drone when going up steep hills. I definitely recommend this exhaust to fellow FiST owners.

Buying and shipping experience – exceeded expectations. Order was shipped with in 48 hours of order being placed (multiple items ordered, ordered on a weekend)
Packaging – exceeded expectations. Boxes were a bit beat up but packing materials more than protected contents.
Quality of parts – met, then exceeded expectations. Exhaust tip wasn’t perfect but cp-e replaced the tip top quickly. Coating is beautiful. All segments fit perfectly and with ease.
Performance – far exceeded expectations. Sound is pure (insert favorite positive descriptive word here). Idle, part throttle, full throttle, over run, all of it. It’s a gorgeous sound.
Value – met expectations. Cost is up there with the best of the mass produced exhausts. Does its job just as good as the big guys, made in the USA, wonderful customer service.
