Description
Genesis Coupe Cat Back
The Hyundai Genesis Coupe is a sleek and sporty looking car – yet its
stock exhaust note is anything but impressive. We decided to change that with the Hyundai Genesis Turbo Exhaust.
Introducing the full cp-e™ Genesis Coupe Cat Back. Along with an aggressive Quad Tip design, the cp-e™ custom-made twin mufflers and the unmistakable exhaust note gives the car a whole new attitude.
Like all cp-e™ exhausts this one is made from Super Polished 304 Stainless Steel. The 16 gauge heavy duty stainless piping is mandrel bent and cut on our in-house CNC Bender and CNC Mills. The system features custom cast stainless steel cp-e™ flanges, stamped steel hangers (not just straight steel rod!), custom-made stainless mufflers, polished stainless tips and more. Everything is TIG welded by hand, which provides an incredibly durable and attractive weld bead. The system was also designed entirely in a CAD environment to guarantee a factory-like fit every time, and with great performance gains.

When coupled with the cp-e™ downpipe, the full cp-e™ turbo back exhaust aids engine breathing efficiency, but without sounding ridiculous. This exhaust system was developed for those looking for more performance and a sportier note, and not so much a no holds barred race car sound. The single 3” to dual 2.5” transition actually helps cancel unwanted noises like exhaust drone, but the total 5” cross-sectional diameter of the two 2.5” diameter pipes allows more than enough flow area for the boosted 2.0T. On our in-house Mustang Dyno the Genesis Coupe along with the cp-e™ turbo back exhaust system showed average gains of 24RWTQ and 20RWHP.
Of course as with all cp-e™ products the Genesis Coupe Cat Back is sold with a lifetime warranty.
OEM Fit & Finish
All cp-e products are designed with excellent fit and finish in mind and the Hyundai Genesis Turbo Exhaust is no exception. We use CNC and laser cut flanges throughout the exhaust to achieve perfect fitment every time.

So I bought this exhaust about 2 months ago from the time I’m writing this review, all I can say everyday is WOW. This thing sounds like a slightly quieted v8. It’s not annoyingly loud and it’s by no means quiet! This thing sounds so deep and throaty, exactly what I was looking for out of it. If you watch the video on the CP-e Youtube channel it gives you a perfect replica of what you can expect. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
