Most factory turbocharged direct injected vehicles use a by-pass-valve (BPV) system to recirculate excess pressure from the turbo when the throttle closes. These valves work fine at stock boost levels, but with modifications, the need for a stronger solution arises. To combat this, we implement a universal HKS Flange that adds a strong, proven, aftermarket blow-off valve to your vehicle.
The Ford F-150 EcoBoost is an incredible platform. With it’s stout 3.5L twin turbo, this engine can make tons of power. Once modifications are added to the truck, it’s clear to see that the stock diverter valve and FMIC are weak points.
We suggest updating the front mount intercooler before any other modifications are made to the truck. Ford has greatly undersized the stock intercooler, which allows for a lot of room to improve. Our updated intercooler core fixes this issue and allows for a proven blow off valve. Additionally, this flange will provide a safe seal from your intercooler to your blow off valve.
