Order Processing

Our company uses PayPal to process our direct orders. This allows cp-e to not claim any money for any order until it is ready to ship, as we are working hard to ensure we get you the products you order ASAP.

You may notice that there is an authorization given to us, cp-e, for up to 30 days, in which we can claim the authorized payment. After about 3 days, you may also notice the funds that were initially moved out of your account re-appear even though the authorization is still valid, and cp-e is still able to claim that money if the product becomes available to ship prior to the 30 day authorization.

If your product is on backorder and is so for more than 30 days, you will receive a notification saying that your order has failed and you will also find that the initial PayPal authorization has disappeared. Do not be alarmed, as we still have your order and plan to fulfill it as soon as we can. Once your order is boxed and ready to ship, we will send you an invoice to your PayPal account as well as send you an email to notify you that your item is ready to ship. Once the PayPal invoice is paid, your package will then be out for shipping!

First Time Customers

cp-e™ requires that first time customers have a matching billing and shipping address. This protects both cp-e™and the customer. The billing and shipping address need to match or the shipping address must be a bank ‘verified’ address. This is only for first time customers and future orders do not need to undergo this process.

Signature Confirmation

By default all of our orders are shipped with an indirect signature required. If you would prefer to have your order ship without a signature, please let us know prior to your order being processed. If you elect to waive the signature confirmation, cp-e is not responsible for lost or stolen orders. We strongly recommend that all customers use signature confirmation.

International Orders

All international orders are shipped via USPS unless they do not meet size restrictions. These larger packages are shipped via FedEx. If you would like a quote for shipping please contact us. Your country may impose duty fees, or other taxes based on the product origin and/or value of your order. These fees and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient not cp-e™ For more information on these fees and taxes please contact your local Import/ Customs authority. All cp-e parts are tested for perfect fitment on USDM spec vehicles, some international vehicles may have differences that impose fitment issues. Fitment is not guaranteed on non-USDM vehicles. cp-e™ is not responsible for errors in pricing on this web site. All prices are in USD and are applicable to the United States of America only.

Sales Tax

Customers that reside in or have items shipped in the state of Maryland are subject to the state sales tax of 6%.

Returns

Returns are subject to an 18% restocking fee. Shipping costs, including insurance, are prepaid by the customer.

Refund, less restocking fee, is available for a return authorized by us on or before the 30th day from the date of invoice. For return authorized on the 31st day or later from invoice date, cp-e is pleased to provide a Merchandise Credit to apply to future purchases. Any product returned without prior authorization will be subject to Merchandise Credit only.

Your invoice number must be visible on the outside of the package for proper return processing. As well as contact details and information regarding the return, inside the package. Failure to follow the procedure above may result in a loss of product and delay your refund.

Availability

Here at cp-e we do our best to try and keep up with the volume of sales that our company experiences every day. Unfortunately, sometimes we have product that just flies of the shelf, and is on backorder.

In this event, there will be a backorder annotation on the product when viewing it on our website allowing you to choose between receiving an email notification for when an item is back in stock, or adding it to your cart and submitting an order and being placed on our backorder list.

If you choose to be emailed when the part is back in stock, once the product is boxed and on the shelf, we will then update the part as “back in stock”.

For those who choose to be placed on our backorder list, you will be placed in a line, with those who have the oldest orders being fulfilled first as the item becomes available.

Mispacks

If you suspect that your order is missing items or that you received an incorrect item, please notify cp-e within 2 days of receiving your order.

Damaged Products

If you suspect that your order contains a damaged item, please notify cp-e within 7 days of receiving your order.

Coupon Codes

Only a single coupon code may be used per order. We will not accept orders that have more than one coupon code.

Military Discount

As a veteran owned company, we value our military and are proud to be a USA manufactured company. To show our thanks for active duty military, we offer free shipping to the continental United States. To take advantage of this, email sales@cp-e.com prior to your order with proof of military service.

Warranty

cp-e™ prides itself on the production of quality parts. All of our parts come with a lifetime warranty against defects in workmanship or materials for the original purchaser for the production lifetime of the product. Items must be sent in for inspection for either repair work or full replacement under our structural warranty program. In the case of a product that arrives damaged or missing parts, customer must notify LTH within 2 business days of receiving the product. This lifetime warranty does not cover non cp-e™ parts. Any claims with non cp-e™ products should be filed with the manufacturing company. Claims on some products, such as engine blocks, cylinder heads, and SAFEseal™, will be taken on a case-by-case basis as these are considered wear items. You must provide us with a copy of your invoice as proof of purchase. To submit a warranty claim, send us an email at support@cp-e.com or give us a call during business hours. Please have your original invoice from cp-e™ or an authorized retailer, along with photos of the product defect. We do not accept warranty inquiries over social media platforms.

cp-e™ is not responsible for or the cost of uninstalling or reinstalling the product needing warrantied. cp-e™ is also not responsible for or the cost to rent a customer a vehicle while cp-e™ repairs or replaces the warranted product. In the event that a defect occurs cp-e™ will repair the item. If the item cannot be repaired cp-e™ will then replace the item. Shipping and handling charges both to and from cp-e™ will be handled by the customer. Any discontinued products or items no longer in production will not be warranted. This includes products such as the Standback, Full Control Flash, and all other electronic or software products.

Engine Program Warranty

Limited Lifetime warranty Warranty requires inspection of the full long block. Only offered if the short block is professionally installed. Must provide proof of proper maintenance. Including changing oil every 3,000-5,000 miles. cp-e is not responsible for any labor costs associated with removing your motor. Customer is responsible for any labor costs incurred by cp-e for inspecting a block that proves to be free of issues or damaged by a customer installed component.

CARB Approved

cp-e™ parts are manufactured for off-road use only. None of our parts carry CARB approval and should only be used on off-road vehicles.

Do cp-e™ Parts Void Your Warranty?

Nope. Your dealer cannot deny you service do to a cp-e™ cat back exhaust, intake, or motor mount. The use of cp-e™ parts is protected under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975 and WILL NOT void your factory warranty. Not all cp-e™ parts are legal in every state.
