Fusion Sport FMIC Data
We're extremely pleased to release our FMIC for the Fusion Sport platform. From the factory, this is an incredibly capable car and it seems like Ford gave it everything they had...that is until you get to the intercooler.
The Fusion Sport suffers from horrendous heat soak, moreso than almost any platform we've tested. The gains from installing a FMIC remind us of the early days of the Focus ST, where the intercooler was quickly identified as the "must do" modification.
During the testing phase, we looked for possible gains in horsepower and torque and were shocked when we found that the Fusion Sport gained 28whp and 25ft lbs in high RPM's on our Mustang dyno.
This of course is thanks to the reduced heat soak from the massive 29"x5.5"x6" core.
