These policies are for Custom Performance Engineering®, otherwise known as cp-e®

Order Processing
All sales will be paid using credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, Klarna, Affirm or PayPal unless other arrangements are made at cp-e® management discretion. Advanced payment is required on all international or custom orders.
All orders placed will require the acceptance of our Terms and Conditions. Customers will not be able to place an order without accepting these Terms and Conditions.
cp-e® reserves the right to change the descriptions, specifications, and prices of the products offered on the website without notice and at any time. cp-e® does not guarantee that product descriptions, specifications and prices of products are accurate, complete or current at all times. Products may not be available for delivery to your country or state of residence.
Products ordered through the website are subject to acceptance by cp-e® at its sole discretion. cp-e® may refuse to accept or may cancel any product order, whether or not confirmed, for any or no reason, in its sole discretion, and without liability to the purchaser or any third party. If a purchaser’s credit card has been charged for an order that is subsequently cancelled by cp-e®, cp-e® shall issue a credit to your credit card account.
cp-e® ships completed orders as one shipment. We do not separate orders into multiple shipments.
The part(s) cp-e® provides have been designed and are intended for off-highway application only, Federal and State laws prohibit the removal, modification, or rendering of any device of design affecting vehicle emissions or safety in a vehicle used on public highways. Except as otherwise specified, set forth herein: Buyer acknowledges that they have not relied on any representation by us in making this contract. Payment, Shipping and Billing Addresses must all correlate. We may or may not contact you in regard to the reasons for which they do not match. If the addresses for Billing, Shipping and IP do not match, then we may also require a signature of the recipient verified by ID. The customer will incur additional costs to cover the fee of the signature if these criteria exist along with a delay in shipping to receive the covered cost. These requirements are made after an increase in fraudulent sales. VPN's must be switched off when placing an order to not disguise your IP address to a separate location. If a payment is made for an order with an IP address that does not match the Billing and Shipping addresses, cp-e® reserves the right to cancel your order without notice.
First Time Customers
cp-e® requires that first time customers have a matching billing and shipping address. This protects both cp-e® and the customer. The billing and shipping address need to match, or the shipping address must be a bank ‘verified’ address. This is only for first time customers and future orders do not need to undergo this process.
Coupon Codes
Only a single coupon code may be used per order. We will not accept orders that have more than one coupon code.
Military Discount
As a veteran owned company, we value our military and are proud to be a USA manufacturing company. To show our thanks for active-duty military, veteran military, and first responders we offer 10% off through GovX ID. To take advantage of this, head to the Military-Responders page and click on the discount button. GovX ID will verify your proof of military service or first responder status.
International Orders
All international orders are shipped via USPS unless they do not meet size restrictions. These larger packages are shipped via FedEx. If you would like a quote for shipping, please contact us. Your country may impose duty fees, or other taxes based on the product origin and/or value of your order. These fees and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient not cp-e®. For more information on these fees and taxes please contact your local Import/ Customs authority. All cp-e® parts are tested for perfect fitment on USDM spec vehicles, some international vehicles may have differences that impose fitment issues. Fitment is not guaranteed on non-USDM vehicles. cp-e® is not responsible for errors in pricing on this web site. All prices are in USD and are applicable to the United States of America only.
Sales Tax
Some states that we ship to will require sales tax. These states are where cp-e® has claimed nexus and are subject to the local sales tax of the state, county and city jurisdiction. These currently include Maryland and South Carolina. This may change as thresholds are met over time (Sales Tax Institute).
Availability
Here at cp-e® we do our best to try and keep up with the volume of sales that our company experiences every day. Unfortunately, sometimes we have product that just flies of the shelf and is on backorder. We currently do not supply live inventory values, but placing an order will put you in a waiting list. Once you are on that list, you will be contacted by email, phone or both in regards to an estimated wait time by month.
Mispacks
If you suspect that your order is missing items or that you received an incorrect item, please notify cp-e® within 14 days of receiving your order at support@cp-e.com. cp-e® will not be required to send free replacement parts after the 14-day period has passed. Customers will be responsible for confirming their parts using an included diagram/instructions. When the 14-day period has passed customers will be responsible for paying the shipping charges and part costs for all missing parts. This helps reduce the number of fraudulent claims.
All claims for products purchased through a distributor should be taken up with the distributor.
Damaged Products
If you suspect that your order contains a damaged item, please notify cp-e® within 14 days of receiving your order. cp-e® will not be required to send free replacement parts after the 14-day period has passed. Customers will be responsible for inspecting their parts. When the 14-day period has passed customers will be responsible for paying the shipping charges and part costs for all damaged parts. This helps reduce the number of fraudulent claims.
All claims for products purchased through a distributor should be taken up with the distributor.
Warranty
cp-e® prides itself on the production of quality parts. All of our parts come with a limited lifetime warranty against defects in workmanship or materials for the original purchaser only for the production lifetime of the product. In order to attain your Limited Lifetime Warranty, you must register your product with us. After purchasing from us or any authorized retailer, you will receive an email and card in the package to register your product. You will have 60 days from ship date to register your product in our system or your limited lifetime warranty will be null and void.
Items must be sent in for inspection for either repair work or full replacement under our structural warranty program. This lifetime warranty does not cover non-cp-e® parts. Any claims with non-cp-e® products should be filed with the manufacturing company. You must provide us with a copy of your invoice as proof of purchase. To submit a warranty claim, fill out the warranty form located here: Returns, Warranties & Repairs Please have your original invoice from cp-e® or an authorized retailer, along with photos of the product defect. We do not accept warranty inquiries over social media platforms.
cp-e® is not responsible for or the cost of uninstalling or reinstalling the product needing warrantied. cp-e® is also not responsible for or the cost to rent a customer a vehicle while cp-e® repairs or replaces the warranted product. In the event that a defect occurs, cp-e® will repair the item. If the item cannot be repaired cp-e® will then replace the item. Shipping and handling charges to cp-e® will be covered by the customer, while the outbound shipping to the customer will be covered by cp-e® if the part is deemed warrantable. Any shipping/duties incurred by the customer prior to determination will not be reimbursed. Any discontinued products or items no longer in production will not be warrantied. This includes products such as the Standback, Full Control Flash, and all other electronic or software products.
All warranty claims for products purchased through a distributor should be initiated by the consumer with their Warranty confirmation number for 2026 and beyond purchases. Purchases made prior to 2026 may require information from the authorized retailer.
COATINGS ON PARTS
Powder, anodize and all other coatings are warrantable up to 180 days after shipping. This includes resin coatings on carbon fiber parts. Resin coatings for carbon fiber will turn a faint yellow after high heat is applied over an extended time frame. It is a common occurrence with all carbon fiber resins and is not warrantable. The warranty period will not be extended if we repair or replace the Product.
A warranty on coatings is explicitly implied as an issue with the coating discoloring or not adhering properly. Flaking from road debris is not covered. Management discretion will be taken on what qualifies as a warranty.
CATALYTIC CONVERTERS
There is no implied or explicit warranty available or provided for catalytic converters. The materials inside of a catalytic converter are susceptible to changes/damage according to each individual vehicle and driving style, leaving them as an unwarrantable item.
SOFT MATERIALS
Apparel/Merchandise
No warranty is expressed or implied on merchandise or apparel items.
AIR FILTERS
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of your cp-e® Universal & Special Air Filter or cp-e Accessory (the “Product”), with the exceptions stated below.
This warranty does not cover damage due to (a) transportation, (b) storage, (c) improper use, (d) failure to follow the Product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance, (e) modifications, (f) unauthorized repair, (g) normal wear and tear, (h) any type of racing or competition, (i) any off-road use or (j) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., acts of God and natural disasters).
This warranty lasts for One-Year from the date of purchase. Coverage applies only to the original purchaser of the Product and is non-transferable. The warranty period will not be extended if we repair or replace the Product.
We will repair any Product that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship. If repair is not possible, we will either replace your Product with a new Product of similar composition and price, or refund the full purchase price of your Product, at our sole discretion. There is no charge for inspection.
If you are ever dissatisfied with the materials, workmanship or performance of this Product, just send us an email to support@cp-e.com and we will be happy to assist you.
Any claim made under this limited warranty must be presented to cp-e® within thirty (30) days from the date on which the claim arises, along with valid proof of end-user purchase date.
This limited warranty statement represents the complete warranty offered by cp-e® on its remanufactured turbochargers, expressly in lieu of any other warranties, including any of merchantability, or suitability for a particular purpose. No individual is authorized to bind cp-e® to any warranty not expressly set forth herein.
In addition to the above warranty statement, any performance or non-OEM turbo units, parts, and accessories purchased through cp-e® are limited to the warranty, if any, of the manufacturer. California state law prohibits the installation of any performance or non-OEM part on a vehicle intended for street and/or highway use.
All warranty claims for products purchased through a distributor should be initiated by the distributor.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED ABOVE ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AND OUR ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. OUR LIABILITY SHALL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EXCEED THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE PRODUCT, NOR SHALL WE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OR LOSSES, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT.
EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. ACCORDINGLY, SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO CERTAIN USERS.
Rust
We use many types of metals to manufacture our products. Most notably, 304 Stainless Steel. It is a common perception that stainless steel does not rust, but that is not true. It takes much longer show surface rust, but can be brushed away with steel wool. MachineManufacturing.com has a great write-up on various types of stainless steel and their properties.
CARB Approved/Exempt
cp-e® parts are manufactured for off-road use only. None of our parts carry CARB approval or exemptions and should only be used on off-road vehicles.
Copyrights and Intellectual Property
This Site and all its Contents are intended solely for personal, non-commercial use. You may download or copy the Contents and other downloadable materials displayed on the Site for your personal use only. No right, title or interest in any downloaded materials or software is transferred to you as a result of any such downloading or copying. You may not reproduce (except as noted above), publish, transmit, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works from, sell or participate in any sale of or exploit in any way, in whole or in part, any of the Contents, the Site or any related software.

You therefore visit/access these sites entirely at your own risk. Please note that these other website may send their own cookies to users, collect data or solicit personal information, and you are therefore advised to check the terms of use and/or privacy policies on those website prior to using them.

cp-e does not, and you agree that cp-e® has no obligation to, review the communications, materials, information, opinions, and other content posted and/or submitted by users accessing the website (including, without limitation, in or on bulletin boards, chat rooms, comment pages, community pages or other forums on the website) (collectively, “User Generated Content”), that cp-e® is not in any manner responsible for User Generated Content, that cp-e® does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of User Generated Content, and that cp-e® cannot assure that harmful, inaccurate, deceptive, offensive, threatening, defamatory, unlawful or otherwise objectionable User Generated Content will not appear on the website. Do cp-e® Parts Void Your Warranty?
Nope. Your dealer cannot deny you service do to an cp-e® cat back exhaust, intake, or motor mount. The use of cp-e® parts is protected under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975 and WILL NOT void your factory warranty. Not all cp-e® parts are legal in every state. Check with local authorities before installing parts on your vehicle. For more information, the entire Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975 can be found here.
Sale Events
a. cp-e® does their best to inform their customers of up-coming Sale Events (i.e. "Black Friday Sale", "4 Birds Sale", etc.) up to one week prior to the event, if they so choose. A Sale Event will always have a start and end time and date. Only purchases made within this time frame are eligible for Sale Event pricing or specials. When a purchase is made outside of the Sale Event time frame, cp-e® does not take responsibility nor have a priority for including sale prices on such purchases. All sales events take place in Eastern Standard Time and thus any times posted for such sales will be in EST only.
b. cp-e® will occasionally hold a special giveaway sale. These sales feature special products that can be added for free to the customers' cart during a designated beginning and end time and date. During these events, an order that is placed that opted into receiving the chosen free item cannot be cancelled until the business day following the end of the event. Any order that opted into receiving the free item and is then returned inside of the standard return timeframe (see Returns policy page), must also return the free item as the conditions of the free item are no longer met.
c. If a pre-ordered product is subsequently discounted during a sale, the customer may cancel their original order and place a new order at the discounted price, subject to the conditions in sections (a) and (b). The customer will forfeit their previous location in the fulfillment sequence and the newly placed order will join all other newly placed orders in their respective fulfillment sequence.
Cancellations
After you make a purchase with cp-e® you have the option of cancelling your order prior to shipping. Once a package has been shipped it can no longer be cancelled. The only option available is a return which defaults to the Returns terms listed below.
Pricing
All prices are subject to change without notice. Glitches in pricing or any other flaw in pricing may or may not be honored by cp-e® at the time of order fulfillment. If pricing is not honored any funds collected will be refunded to the customer.
