The cp-e® High Flow Cat Primary Downpipes for the Kia stinger 3.3T is a complete bolt-on solution for more power out of the stock turbochargers.
The OEM design of the Stinger GT downpipes is a huge restriction in the exhaust system. In order to solve this, we replace the stock units with turbine-matched cast bellmouths down to the catalyst, then cast bellmouth again down to the secondary downpipes! Our unit is full 304 stainless steel construction with the finest TIG welds and components.
*Tuning is recommended to ensure that your CEL does not kick on from the pressure drop in the high flow cat. CPT does not tune these vehicles, but there are other companies that have access to that.*
Our 3.3T Downpipes are designed and built to withstand the most rigorous conditions and extract as much power as possible from the engine.
We start by 3D scanning the OEM downpipe (shown here in transparent blue) and design our new pipe using the latest in 3D CAD software. We can overlay our new design with OEM to make sure you have a perfect fit.
The focal design point of these downpipes is our cast 304 stainless steel bellmouths on both ends of the primaries. Using our 3D scanning and computer modeling, we match the turbocharger housing geometry while maximizing flow into the tubing. This also allows us to make tight bend geometry while maintaining a nice and thick-walled part that can withstand the abuse of racing both on the track and auto-cross. This is far-superior to pie-cut and welded tubing in every way!
